Working at 86400 grinding stumps after the timber was extracted by these two magnificent Percheron heavy horses.
10 metres of Leylandii removal at Oradour Fanais, the ground was stone free but wet. The client and his gardener assisted, it was good team work.
This is the finished result after grinding out the large chestnut.
This was a huge chestnut stump that was blocking the entrance to the property. It was 3 metres wide under the gravel surface.
The stump grinder is quite precise in that you can grind almost up to a wall without damaging either the wall or the machine.
Large stumps, like this oak, are reduced to chipping and dust then mixed back into the hole with the earth leaving the ground ready to reseed with grass.
I'm finding that I'm receiving inquiries from client's that are out of my usual advertising catchment area because they've found me via Google. My area seems to stretch from the coast in the Vendee down to the Bergerac area, all of Poitou Charentes and the Limousin.
- Allen DMr Dave Cropper is an absolute delight. He works professionally, diligently, safely and courteously. The equipment he uses is first class and he knows his trade. Did a superb job very reasonably on a multitude of stumps we wanted to get rid of. They disappeared leaving barely a trace, just good compost to re lawn or plant. All without the mess of using a very heavy digger. Cannot recommend highly enough.
- christopher oAbsolutely first class job as promised. 3 large poplar stumps have now disappeared along with all the blighters trying to regrow everywhere. David Cropper made a very reasonable quote for the job and I have no hesitation in recommending his services. many thanks and mind those knees!
