David Cropper Stump grinding / Dessouchage service

Large pine stump set into the calcaire of the driveway at Jumilhac-le-Grand. Ground out to 30 centimetres below ground.

Huge double trunked walnut on the edge of the driveway and a 4 metre drop the other side. Work done at 24630 Jumilhac-le-Grand.

Huge Sequoia cut down 20 years ago. It measured 3 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 80 centimetres high. It took 7 hours to grind, thankfully the client had his gardener coming to remove the mountain of chippings with a mini digger. Work done at 86400 Saint-Saviol.

Stump ground completely out to 30 centimetres below level, before client creates a parking area.

Working at 86400 grinding stumps after the timber was extracted by these two magnificent Percheron heavy horses.

10 metres of Leylandii removal at Oradour Fanais, the ground was stone free but wet. The client and his gardener assisted, it was good team work.

This is the finished result after grinding out the large chestnut.

This was a huge chestnut stump that was blocking the entrance to the property. It was 3 metres wide under the gravel surface.

The stump grinder is quite precise in that you can grind almost up to a wall without damaging either the wall or the machine.
